The per-area control panels. Each is a single configuration record that holds the defaults and rules for one part of the system.

When to use

During setup, and whenever you want to change a default behaviour for an area.

Step by step

CRM Settings form
1. Each area has a single settings screen. CRM Settings sets follow-up days, quote defaults and more.
Job Settings / Timesheet Settings / Payroll Settings (Settings sub-groups)
2. Job, Timesheet and Payroll Settings work the same way — one form each, holding that area's defaults and rules.
Defaults that pre-fill records elsewhere
3. These defaults are what new customers, opportunities and jobs inherit — set them once here.
Save (toolbar button)
4. Save to apply the settings across the system.
