Getting Help & Feedback

Everything you need when you’re stuck, want to learn a screen, or have an idea — all from the Help & feedback menu in the top-right of FSManager (the button next to Sign In/Out).

The Help & feedback menu

Click the button (or the small arrow beside it) to open it. Five options:

OptionWhat it does
Open DocsOpens this documentation site in a new tab — the full how-to and module guides.
Help for this pageJumps straight to the documentation for the screen you’re on.
Help drawer (F1)Opens an inline help panel inside the app, already scrolled to the relevant topic — no tab switch.
Report a BugTell us something isn’t working.
Request a FeatureSuggest an improvement or something new.

Pressing F1 anywhere in the app is the fastest route — it opens the help drawer for whatever screen you’re looking at. Try it on a quote, a job, or the Job Manager.

Context help — “Help for this page” and F1

FSManager knows which screen you’re on, so both Help for this page and Help drawer (F1) take you to the right topic rather than the docs home. The drawer (F1) stays docked beside your work so you can read and do at the same time; Open Docs is better when you want to browse or share a link.

Reporting a bug

Use Report a Bug when something doesn’t behave as it should — an error message, a number that looks wrong, a button that does nothing.

A good report gets fixed faster:

  • What you were doing — the screen and the action (e.g. “Win Quote on opportunity 1042”).
  • What you expected vs what happened.
  • Anything on screen — an error message, or the Application Error page.

The report carries your tenant and the page you were on, so you don’t need to repeat that.

Requesting a feature

Use Request a Feature for ideas — a field you wish existed, a report you’d like, a step you’d love to skip. Describe the outcome you want (“I want to see margin by salesperson”) rather than a specific button, so we can find the best way to deliver it. Feature requests feed directly into the product roadmap.
